Actress and comedian Julia Louis-Dreyfus took to social media on June 25 to commemorate her and husband Brad Hall’s 31st wedding anniversary, sharing a throwback photo of the two in the middle of a sailing trip.

The 57-year-old Seinfeld star and her husband of Saturday Night Live fame are seen on board a yacht in swimwear, both sporting wide smiles. The two college sweethearts got married on June 25, 1987, as Daily Mail reported.

’31,000 years ago today, I married my current boyfriend,’ the funnywoman captioned the loving picture. Louis-Dreyfus and 60-year-old Hall met at Northwestern University, Illinois, when both were studying there.

They went on to appear together on Saturday Night Live in the early 80’s and their careers took off from there. As Hall went on to write and produce for film and TV, Louis-Dreyfus cemented her reputation starring in Seinfeld in the 90’s.

She won five Grammy Awards and a Golden Globe for her work in the iconic series, playing the role of Elaine Benes, and she continued developing a fruitful career in both film and TV.

Louis-Dreyfus and Hall live in Santa Barbara, California, and they share two sons: Henry, born in 1992, and Charles, born in 1997.

In September 2017, the actress revealed in a touching tweet that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. ‘1 in 8 women get breast cancer. Today, I’m the one,’ she wrote back then.

‘The good news is that I have the most glorious group of supportive and caring family and friends, and fantastic insurance through my union. The bad news is that not all women are so lucky, so let’s fight all cancers and make universal health care a reality,’ she added with concern.

She has kept her treatment mostly private, but she gives updates about her health every once in a while to keep her fans informed. In February, she posted her first photo after having surgery, and she was in good spirits.

'Hoorah! Great doctors, great results, feeling happy and ready to rock after surgery,’ wrote the The New Adventures of Old Christine star.

Although still in recovery, her career keeps going strong. She is set to start filming the final season of her HBO show Veep in August, and she has been honored with the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.

She will receive the prize on October 21 at the Kennedy Center Concert Hall in Washington, D.C. Read more on our Twitter account @amomama_usa
